Covid-19 Information

The health and safety of our guests is our top priority.

We have implemented several measures that you will see in our Attraction which are each designed to protect Darkside Haunted House guests and employees from potential exposure to the COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus), by minimizing contacts, promoting social distancing and increasing sanitation throughout the attraction.

All Staff will be required to wear face masks.
We have removed all hanging curtains and obstructions from the pathway.
We will not be using fog or haze that will keep particles hanging in the air this season.
The Attraction will be thoroughly sanitized daily with high touch areas cleaned throughout the night with a Hospital grade disinfectant.
We will be using online ticketing only and contactless scanning from your phone.

Online Timed Tickecting

In order to reduce capacity, utilize contact less payment and maintain social distancing for the 2021 season we are selling tickets online only. We are selling timed tickets for each half hour we are open. In order to limit group size we are only selling tickets in groups of 4 to 8 people. Select nights we will have groups of 2 and 3 availible. In order to increase spacing between groups there are only a limited amount of group tickets for each time slot. Your group will not be combined with any other group. This will decrease wait times and ensure social distancing. Your tickets for your group will be scanned off your phone, please turn your brightness on your phone all the way up for easy scanning. Only one person from each group needs to show the tickets for thier group. In order to ensure reduced capacity tickets must be used for the Date and Time specified on the ticket. Please be on property 10 minutes before your time slot.

In addition, to further protect the health and safety of our guests and employees, you will not be admitted to the attraction and you should stay home if within past fourteen (14) days you have:

Tested positive or have been deemed presumptively positive with the Coronavirus; Sought testing to determine whether you might have the Coronavirus, and have not yet received the results; Been informed that you may have been exposed to Coronavirus or learned that you have been in the immediate vicinity of a person now known to have been carrying the Coronavirus; or Experienced any of the following symptoms commonly associated with the Coronavirus, including cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, OR two or more of any of the following: fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.

Once you leave your car, and upon entering the cue line you must:

Wear your protective face Covering that covers both your mouth and nose at all times during your visit. Even if you use a face shield you must have a mask that covers your nose and mouth under it.

There is No Smoking, Eating or Drinking while on the cue line or throughout the Atrraction as per NYS Guidelines. Please use designated areas.

Adhere to the social distancing and sanitization guidelines posted throughout the Attraction.

Darkside Haunted House reserves the right to modify these requirements on a case-by-case basis to accommodate any circumstance that in Darkside Haunted House sole discretion warrants a modification to this policy.

Darkside Haunted House cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to Coronavirus during your visit. The CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from Coronavirus. Guests should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to attend. People who show no symptoms can spread Coronavirus if they are infected, any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to Coronavirus. By purchasing a ticket to the Darkside Haunted House, you acknowledge and agree that you assume these inherent risks associated with attendance.

If at any time Darkside Haunted House determines that a guest does not meet the criteria outlined in this policy, Darkside Haunted House reserves the right to refuse entry or (if the guest is already in the attraction) immediately remove the guest from the attraction without a refund. These actions are at the sole discretion of Darkside Haunted House.
